Air Purifiers
Irish homes trap more than damp. Cooking smells, pet hair, pollen that drifts in through open windows, and the fine particles from solid fuel burning all linger in rooms with poor ventilation. An air purifier pulls these out of the air you breathe, which matters most in bedrooms, living rooms, and any space where someone has asthma or allergies.
How to choose
Decide what you are actually trying to remove, then match the filter to the job.
- Choose HEPA for dust, pollen, and pet dander. The H13 grade catches the smallest particles.
- Choose charcoal for smells, smoke, and fumes. The activated carbon absorbs gases and odours that HEPA cannot touch.
- Pick Wi-Fi if you want to check air quality or set schedules from your phone, useful for running the unit before you get home.
- Size the unit to the room. A small purifier in a large space will struggle to make any difference.
