If you own a Meaco DD8L dehumidifier, the filter inside it is working hard every day. It catches dust and uses an anti-bacterial coating to stop mould and bacteria from growing on the filter itself. After months of use, that filter becomes clogged and less effective. Your dehumidifier still runs, but the air coming out is not as clean as it should be.
How it helps
This is a direct replacement filter for the Meaco DD8L and DD8L Junior dehumidifiers. The anti-bacterial layer helps keep the unit hygienic inside, which matters in Irish homes where damp conditions encourage mould growth. A fresh filter lets your dehumidifier breathe properly and maintain its performance.
Getting the best from it
- Check your current filter every few months, especially if you run the dehumidifier daily.
- Replace it when it looks grey or clogged, or when you notice musty smells from the unit.
- Keep a spare in the cupboard so you can swap it immediately when needed.
- No tools required: the filter pulls out and pushes back in by hand.
Who it suits
This suits anyone who already owns a Meaco DD8L or DD8L Junior dehumidifier and wants to keep it running cleanly. It is not for other Meaco models, and it will not fit dehumidifiers from other brands. If you have lost your manual and are unsure which model you own, check the label on the back of your unit before ordering.
