These castors are for the MeacoDry Arete ten litre and twelve litre models, letting you move the unit without lifting or dragging.
How it helps
The castors attach to the base of your Arete dehumidifier, replacing the fixed feet. Once fitted, the unit rolls smoothly across hard floors and short pile carpet, so you can reposition it wherever damp is worst that day. No need to bend and haul a full tank of water back to the machine, or risk scratching your floor by sliding it.
Getting the best from it
- Check your Arete already, some units ship with castors fitted from the factory.
- Fit them on a flat surface with the dehumidifier empty and unplugged.
- Roll slowly over thresholds or between rooms to avoid tipping.
- Return the unit to a central spot once the job is done, as this is where dehumidifiers work best.
Who it suits
These suit anyone with an Arete ten litre or twelve litre who moves their dehumidifier regularly between rooms, or who finds lifting awkward. They are not for other Meaco models, nor for larger Arete units, which use different fittings. If your dehumidifier rarely leaves its spot, you do not need these.
