If you own the MeacoDry Arete One 6L, you already know it tackles damp and mould. These replacement H13 HEPA filters let it do something else too: strip pollen, dust mites, pet dander and other tiny irritants from the air your family breathes. That matters if someone in the house has allergies, asthma, or simply wakes up stuffy every morning.
How it helps
Each filter is a dense mesh of polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate fibres. Air passes through, and particles as small as 0.3 micrometres get trapped. The manufacturer states 99.75% of these particles stay in the filter, not your lungs. Slide one into your Arete One 6L and the machine becomes a dehumidifier and air purifier combined. You get drier air that is also cleaner air.
Getting the best from it
- Expect to swap the filter roughly every three months. Mark it on the calendar when you install it.
- Run the HEPA filter only when air quality matters most, perhaps during pollen season or when the heating is on and windows stay shut. Using it continuously increases noise and slightly reduces how much water the machine pulls from the air.
- Keep the dust filter in place too. The Arete will not run without it, and you need either this HEPA filter or a charcoal filter fitted, not both together.
- Store spare filters sealed in their original bag. Once opened, they cannot be returned.
Who it suits
This pack suits anyone with the Arete One 6L who wants cleaner bedroom or living room air, especially allergy sufferers or pet owners. It is not for other Meaco models, and it is not for anyone expecting silent running or maximum moisture removal. The trade-off for cleaner air is a touch more noise and slightly slower drying. If your priority is purely tackling damp fast, stick with the standard dust filter instead.
